1. Drain & remove
We drain the pool, remove the old liner, and pull the gaskets, faceplates, and skimmer trim. Everything that meets the new liner gets cleaned or replaced.
When your liner starts wrinkling, fading, or losing water, replacing it transforms how your pool looks, and how often you have to fight it. We do the whole job, from picking a pattern in our showroom to refilling on the last day.
A vinyl liner replacement is more than just dropping in a new one. Done right, it's an opportunity to inspect the wall, the floor, the coping, and the plumbing while everything is exposed.
We drain the pool, remove the old liner, and pull the gaskets, faceplates, and skimmer trim. Everything that meets the new liner gets cleaned or replaced.
With the liner out, we check the floor (vermiculite or grout) and walls for damage. If something needs patched or repoured, we catch it now, not after the new liner is in.
Solid liners, classic patterns, dark bottoms, designer borders. We'll bring samples to the table. Pattern affects how your water reads in the sun, so it's worth choosing in person at the store.
The new liner gets carefully fitted, vacuumed against the walls, and the faceplates are reinstalled with new gaskets so it seats correctly the first time.
We refill, restart the system, and balance your water chemistry. You leave with a sparkling pool and a fresh starting line. Most jobs wrap up in 3 to 5 days.
Quality vinyl liners typically carry a 20-year prorated warranty from the manufacturer. We stand behind the install and handle warranty claims if anything goes sideways.
Today's vinyl liners are nothing like the pale-blue liners from the '90s. We carry options from solid mineral blues and grays (modern, clean, reads dark in the water) to classic tile-and-bottom patterns and premium designer borders with shimmer prints.
Pattern, depth color, and water color all interact. We'll bring samples and walk you through what each option looks like in your specific pool, sun exposure, and surroundings.
A patch can buy you a season if the puncture is small, dry, and on a flat surface. But here's when we'll honestly tell you to plan for a replacement instead:
Not sure where you stand? Drop in, describe what you're seeing, and we'll tell you straight. We don't push replacements on liners that have life left.
Drag the handle to compare a faded, wrinkled liner against a fresh install. Same pool, weeks apart.
Vinyl liner replacement pricing depends on pool size, liner pattern, and whether the floor or walls need work. Most standard inground replacements in Blount County run in the mid-single-digit thousands all-in, including the new liner, faceplates, gaskets, and refill. Above ground liner replacements are typically half that.
Patterned and designer liners run more than solids. Damaged floors or walls add cost, and we'll inspect and quote honestly before any work starts.
If your liner has aged out, you may also be re-evaluating the pool itself. See our build options.
